A Bournemouth and Dorset DJ is heading to Amsterdam this week to perform at one of the biggest events in the global dance music calendar as Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) celebrates its 30th anniversary.

Bryn Whiting, who has been making waves in the dance music scene over recent years, is set to perform three DJ sets during the internationally renowned event.

Two of his sets will take place at a sold-out Nocturnal Knights event at Panama, one of Amsterdam’s well-known nightlife venues. He will also perform a third set representing the record label he is signed to.

Amsterdam Dance Event brings together DJs, producers, record labels, promoters and music industry professionals from around the world, making it a major event for both established artists and emerging talent.

His passion for dance music began with experiencing it as a raver before developing into an interest in creating and mixing music himself. That early enthusiasm has since developed into opportunities to perform on an international stage.

An exciting milestone for Bryn, the opportunity to perform at ADE marks another significant milestone in his career.

Speaking to the Dorset Gazette, he said:
“The last couple of years have been amazing and to DJ at the biggest convention in the world is an absolute honour and privilege.”

With three sets lined up across the event, Bryn will have the opportunity to showcase his sound to international audiences while representing the local dance music scene on a global stage.

His appearance at ADE highlights the opportunities available to DJs from Bournemouth and Dorset who are building their reputations beyond the local music scene.

As the convention celebrates three decades of bringing the global electronic music industry together, Bryn’s performances represent an exciting opportunity to take his career to the next level.

The Dorset Gazette wishes Bryn the best of luck with his sets in Amsterdam.
